his form at the major was well above his average form this year - overall he doesnt play that well.

2 exceptions and he had 13 tournaments worse than cluj, whereas he had 6 tournaments better than cluj. and that goes down to 5 if you dont include ESPORTSM 2015 which had nip and 3 tier3 swedish teams in the tournament. so i think saying his cluj form was well above his average form this year is pretty fair.

It's different. Olof is good with p2k, apex is good with glock, guardian is good with p2k. Why I would put f0rest as the best pistoler is because he is insane with both usp and glock

apex for me is the best FiveseveN player in the world. guardian is good with p2k but hes also really good with p250 and is a god with deagles. olof is good with tec9 aswell :D hes good with every pistol though

when I think of pr, I think of a player that is good without getting dropped so he can get tec9 + armor. f0rest is insane with glock, usp, and p250 even without armor

olof is undeniably good with USP, and is pretty great with glock aswell. tec9 is more of a second round buy, and i only mentioned it because pistols were being discussed :p

Great answer, I ask who's better than f0rest and you name the whole scene. kio, taz, xyp, shox, pasha, rpk, flamie, karrigan, flusha are not even close to f0rest in my eyes. Snax, dupreeh, olof and device I can see being atleast as good as f0rest, not better. The only man is still olof for me. jkaem I have no idea about though

ITS 2015. f0rest isnt a god anymore. i named you 14 players - not even half of tier1 players. "not even close to f0rest" i dont know how you came to that conclusion, karrigan for example is insane in pistol rounds. "at least as good but not better" implying f0rest is literally the best right now - after olof. thats idiotic. f0rest is probably one of the most overrated players right now, because people choose to only remember his good moments.

3 month filter on LAN for something that happens 2 times per map is not quite enough to make accurate conclusions, not to mention the fact that statistics are skewed by many factors which make numbers not as accurate for example teams that dont make deep runs into tournaments - like nip - play the worse teams only and dont play as many top teams that make it to finals of tournaments such as fnatic or tsm, meaning the top teams that do make it deep into tournaments are getting lower pistol round ratings because they play other teams that make it deep into the tournament. i am watching csgo, and what im seeing is that there are some pistol players that have been more impressive than f0rest this year. its very simple.

because this game is all about positioning and timings. Spraying and shooting is pretty ez in csgo so it's just almost impossible to shot people before they shot you. in 1.6 it's hard to pull of -5 because shooting is harder and maps are way bigger compared to player models. Also if players movment is amazing you're fucked versus him and that dude can avoid many deadly situations. in csgo it's hard to pull of -5 because shooting is more easy so every top player is playing on same level. Maps are more tight and it's easier for other people to shut you down before you kill them (also include here those guns like SMG's or shotguns, or automatic running and spraying pistols). Movement is almost non existent comopared to 1.6 but it's still there (those 3 maybe 4 jumps before you get slowdown) tl dr players like f0rest and neo need much more variety and skill in the game to outplay their enemies. That's why players that were good because of their timings are still relatively same on skill (for e.g. GeT_RiGhT) That's my point of view ofc.

1.6 maybe, not now sadly :( if u remember, navi was the weakest team in top 8 on pistol rounds last major, the only one that was bringing the round if they won it, was guardian. Edward has sometimes deagle onetaps, but thats all.
