LaAw finalises melty squad

melty eSports Club have announced that their squad is now complete with the addition of former beGenius member Mathieu "LaAw" Plantin.

The French team had been on the lookout for a new fifth player since the departure of Corentin "⁠MAIDHEN⁠" Lashermes, who was unable to commit to the hours necessary to play at the highest level.

Mathieu "⁠LaAw⁠" Plantin had been tipped to join melty after playing for the team in the recent D!ngIT $2000 Weekly Cup #27, which they won after beating Fraternitas (twice) and ESC Gaming.

GMX's melty are once again complete

melty have now confirmed the signing of the former beGenius and Red Instinct member as they set their sights on attending Copenhagen Games in early 2016.

"Today another page turns in my career and it's with joy that I join the ranks of melty with Alex, Mistou, Lambert and GMX," Plantin said in a statement.

"They offer me the opportunity to pass a new level in CS. They're really serious and have a mindset that motivates me to the highest point, and I am proud today to be the setting.

"This year was quite hectic, transfers here and there in the French teams, and I managed to find a good spot on a team that potentially can go really far.

"I can only be thankful for the trust they have all agreed to place in me, I will do my best to prove them that I deserve it, and show that they were not wrong."

With LaAw's arrival, melty now have:

Of course. He was a brilliant and successful IGL who put the unbeatable NiP down, he coached the best team in the world during a couple of months, what more do you expect for a player ? Even if he probably lost skill, such a player is definitely more valuable that 90% of players. Low = lower than average. Average is not fucking olofmeister or fucking NBK with their multiple major titles, so no a guy with such a confirmed list of achievements is not low.
