Danish WCG qualifier announced

The Danish qualifier for the 2008 World Cyber Games will be hosted at SLAP Live #16.

It was recently announced that this year's WCG.dk qualifiers would be held at SLAP Live #16. The official press release stated:

We are happy to announce the danish WCG finals will be held at SLAP LIVE #16 by Regroup Events ApS

Registration for the event opens today, September 8th. The national finals will to held at SLAP Live #16 are scheduled for October 16th-19th.

While mTw would be local favourites, the qualifiers clash with the ESL Global Challenge hosted in Montreal, Canada. If mTw want to attend this year's WCG Finals it would mean giving up their spot at the ESL Global Challenge.

Other local teams like AndThenSome, SoA and Playzone will also be looking to take the WCG spot away from one the world's best teams, mTw.

It should'nt be a hard decision to choose between WCG and ESL Global Challenge. I hope, that mTw will try to qualifier to WCG and miss ESL. Of course, if they want to play ESL, they can have a break from events, but then they wont play WCG. - Yeha, my brain is really going for gold today.

quite a big pay off if they win ESL tho -- 25,000USD ... and altho WCG might be a bigger pay-off it will depend which one they think they are more likely to win

I don't agree. In fact I think that if u get the answers that you are looking for by ur own, you get smarter than if you are so lazy to just asking for them.

So instead of studying at schools, you should study all the things by yourself... ~_~ Insteaf of asking a question on a website where people would be more than willing to make an answer you should make a long process to find the answer someplace in cyberspace or IRL O_o

I can't see your point, it is just one question concerning Counter Strike? I'm not trying to study CS, but just wanted to know, what ESL stands for.. But yes, sometimes it is a good idea, to discover the answers by yourself, but take it easy, mate.. I'm sorry that I asked.
