UCC Season 4 with $40,000 pool
The fourth season of the Uprise Champions Cup has been announced, featuring an increased prize pool of $40,000.
Just two months after the end of UCC season three, which saw E-frag.net scoop the top prize of $3,500, a new iteration of the tournament has been announced, and this time the competition is likely to attract some of the biggest teams in the business.
The prize pool has been increased fourfold to $40,000, with the winner walking away with over half of that figure ($25,000). Unlike the previous season, which culminated with offline finals in Moscow, the tournament will be played online in its entirety, starting on December 14 and running until February 28.

E-frag.net won the previous UCC Season
Twelve of the 16 spots in UCC Season 4 will be filled through invites, while the remaining places will go to the top four sides of an open 16-team online qualifier. All teams interested in competing in the qualifier need to e-mail the organisers at [email protected] to sign up.
The main tournament will kick off with two group stages (the first one GSL, the other one round-robin), followed by a double-elimination bracket with the remaining four sides.
The $40,000 will be distributed between the top four teams as follows:
1. $25,000
2. $10,000
3-4. $2,500
3-4. $2,500
