Vegas qualifiers about to end

Both qualifiers have been quite dramatic so far as the teams deemed favorites heading into the tournament have largely underperformed, giving lesser-rated sides the chance to win tickets to Las Vegas.

In Europe, the biggest surprise came in the form of G2's elimination in the semi-finals following a 0-2 defeat against dignitas in what was a one-sided game from the start. The Danish side will play the grand final with questionmark's René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg as a stand-in and they will certainly have to work hard to fend off the threat of CSGL, who come into the game on the back of convincing wins over mousesports and Vexed.

Meanwhile, North American fans were stunned to see CLG, Cloud9 and Team Liquid all collapse in the first round of the qualifier. Conquest are now widely tipped to win the qualifier, but they will first have to move past Enemy, who beat C9 and SPLYCE earlier in the tournament.
