compLexity brings back fRoD
compLexity Gaming announced that the organization's legendary player Danny "fRoD" Montaner will be returning to his old home in what will be a revamp of the team’s current roster.
Danny "fRoD" Montaner, who was named North American Player of the Decade on our site and subsequently #14 on our Top 20 players of 2010 ranking, has returned to the organization in which he made his name.
fRoD first joined compLexity Gaming over 11 years ago and was part of a team that won ESWC 2005 and WSVG ISC 2006, which were at the time majors in CS 1.6.
He then moved to play CS:Source in CGS, but returned later to CS 1.6 as a member of Evil Geniuses and once again came close to the top at IEM IV World Championship in 2010, ending up in 4th place.

fRoD returns
In CS:GO he was briefly active in 2013 when he played for cuLtivation in ESEA Season 14, including the LAN Finals which his team finished in last place, 5-6th.
Shortly after that he disappeared from the competitive scene and has only now reappeared in what is dubbed a "roster revamp" and a "homecoming".
"Our roster revamp starts now.
"In the history of North American Counter-Strike, no player has had a more lasting impact than Danny 'fRoD' Montaner. In a day where our scene is a laughing stock, we have decided to awaken the beast and bring back the king of old school.
"I am confident his wisdom and experience will help us develop the younger players who will complete the squad.
"Our plan will take time and an incredible amount of hard work, but compLexity is dedicated to bringing America another world championship. We were the last ones to do it and God willing, we'll be the next. Welcome home, Danny. We've missed you." – said coL's owner Jason Lake in a statement on the organization's website.
The announcement explains that further changes will be revealed soon but doesn't mention players of the old roster, although Lake has stated on Twitter he plans to build the team around Daniel "roca" Gustaferri. Another name closely tied to compLexity in the ongoing "NA shuffle" is former Denial 17-year-old member Hunter "SicK" Mims.
