compLexity have announced that they will part ways with Timothy "autimatic" Ta and Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen at the end of the year.

The North American team are currently in the process of revamping their lineup after failing to live up to expectations since signing for compLexity, in August.

Last night, coL caught headlines as they announced the return of Danny "⁠fRoD⁠" Montaner, one of the most accomplished players in the history of North American Counter-Strike.

SEMPHIS set to leave compLexity

The 2005 ESWC champion will guide the new coL roster, which is shorn of Kory "⁠SEMPHIS⁠" Friesen and Timothy "⁠autimatic⁠" Ta as the duo will be sold to an unspecified organisation, with the move coming into effect on January 1.

"After much deliberation, it was mutually agreed that we would sell their contracts," a statement from coL read.

"We greatly appreciate the short time they spent with our organization and wish them both the best of luck in the future."

coL now have just 2/5 of the core lineup of the previous season but they will still keep their spot in professional leagues as team coach Matt "⁠Warden⁠" Dickens remains a rostered player.

The organisation will spend the next weeks evaluating its options and speaking with "top contenders from around the world" before making a decision about the final two lineup members. Until then, the team will field Ronnie "⁠ryx⁠" Bylicki and Hunter "⁠SicK⁠" Mims, formerly of Tempo Storm and Denial, respectively, as stand-ins.

I agree with you about Skadoodle. He's always been one of my favourite NA players. However you're wrong about allu. It's only really been him and f0rest pulling NiP through what they have 'achieved' over the last 6 months. The reason he's leaving is probably because he wants to achieve more in local tournaments (which he can in NA with Liquid) and get paid by a larger organisation. Also perhaps there are internal issues in NiP and he wants a different environment. However it's certainly not because he is 'not even that good'.

NiP is an organization run by shady individuals given the past couple of scandals about money laundering and players not being given their tournament money share for months. I'm not surprised as to why he would downgrade to something low tier like Liquid or C9 from top 6 world. At the moment only reason NiP as a team are still alive at the moment is only thanks to Get_Right.

Semphis will most likely not be joining Cloud9, if so there will have to be a roster change. It'll have to be a roster change because MIRAA said that Semphis and autimatic will be sold as a duo.

actually they're keeping him probably not cause he's consistent but I'm almost sure because of his monster aiming ability and potential. He just hasn't shined THAT much in-game yet. I've heard Semphis and Hazed say he's got some of the best aim they've ever seen

The most solid rumors about Stewie have been to join a top3 team NA, and don't think TSM counts as one yet. Legija could fit in as a coach, but doesn't seem like a sensible move to bring him as a player. Gob B also raises some questions, but it's almost a likely one. Semphis/autimatic to TSM are pretty much confirmed (unless something drastic happens, like ibp unban)

Also, all four riflers on this lineup have been entry-fraggers for their respective teams in the past... coL need to sign TCK, the famed flash bang thrower, smoke master, clutch king.
