Luminosity to last-four over Na`Vi

Luminosity Gaming are through to the semi-finals of the SL i-League StarSeries XIV Finals after beating Natus Vincere 2-0 (16-14 on de_train and 16-9 on de_mirage).

Luminosity and Natus Vincere entered this match riding the wave after picking up 2-0 wins during the opening round, and, as many had predicted, this was a fantastic series to watch from start to finish.

Train was the Brazilians' map pick, but it was Na`Vi who came out the brighter, having picked up the opening three rounds. Luminosity were able to hit back in gun rounds and won eight of the following nine rounds to bring the scoreline to 8-4. Na`Vi was starting to lose control of proceedings, but then Ioann "⁠Edward⁠" Sukhariev kept his team in the race with two stunning rounds.

Down 7-8, Na`Vi won the pistol and followed it up with the first anti-eco. The CIS team looked to be in a position to take a solid lead, but Luminosity put together a significant run of rounds to make it 14-10. Na`Vi battled back and won four of the next five rounds, but their hopes of taking the game to overtime were shattered by Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David, who pulled off an incredible 1vs4 clutch to give Luminosity the lead.

Next up was de_mirage, where Luminosity got out to a five-round lead before Na`Vi could get their first round. The CIS lineup also added the next round to their tally, but their streak was cut short by a 1vs3 clutch from Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo with the AWP. Luminosity kept pushing and brought the scoreline to 7-2, but Na`Vi were simply dominant during the final stages of the half, winning six rounds in a row to take an 8-7 lead into the second half.

Now playing on the Terrorist side, Luminosity were in control from the outset, dropping just one round in the entire half to seal a 16-9 victory and a 2-0 overall success.

Na'Vi has won 8 out of 9 maps versus Luminosity, you are retarded if you predict them winning. To have a high "prediction rate" you should always predict the one with the best record between the teams, maybe taking some of their current form into account if one of them is doing especially bad at the time (NiP mid 2015) or better than ever (C9 late spring/early summer 2015). Thorin is overall the best at predicting the correct winners and scores as he actually has rational reasons for his picks, not like all of these HTLV retards such as yourself who just say something along the lines of "I think X will win because I feel like the will".

I mean every single time the two teams play it has been very close. More of the games were overtime, 16-14, or 16-13 than anything else and LG has definitely improved. Na'Vi has been doing well as well, but LG has improved more recently than Na'Vi. It wasn't a terrible prediction to say LG would win though it wouldn't be bad to predict Na'Vi either. Really the only bad prediction would be that it would be really heavily favored either way. Edit: The lounge odds were stupid though. If I was betting currently I would have bet heavily on LG just because I would have said it was closer to 50/50 or 55/45 than what the odds were on lounge.

You must see the TEAM performance, and with TACO they are doing MUCH better. I'm impressed how Lg is playing insanely good with a recent roster change. People used to blame steel and then they moved to blame taco from now. In my opinion today he played with almost no mistakes, and defended several bomb rushes from NaVi squad.. Wasn't shinny as FalleN but he played well

Ok i will say my opinion. I totaly respect and Na'Vi and LG. And if really i was like 75% sure that Na'Vi will win again. But LG showed some great rounds( THIS TIME REALLY) even TACO got some BIG kills. Yeah yeah, everybody can say its luck or etc.. ofcourse if we will look at first map de_train, where last round was FOR SURE !!! Na'Vi round, and it should be finished with DRAW !. But no, somehow Cold managed to take 1v4. ( yes maybe its luck or something like that) but guys in every game, any team have luck, maybe on last round, maybe on first round or etc.. so dont blame them both teams played good.
