Russian mix-team to WCG

The Russian WCG qualifier took place this weekend, without the Russian pride of Virtus.pro.

Due to the World Cyber Games rules, a team must consist of five persons of the same nationality. This rules out Virtus.pro, as their team consists of three Ukrainians and two Russians. This meant that the qualifications spot should be quite open, but an interesting mix-team announced their arrival to put up a fight for the prestigious spot.

On the team we saw the two Virtus.pro players LeX and ROMJkE, hooch who could not play with his Amazing Gaming and edik and Flatra. The team to beat was EYESports, when the two meet in the final

The final played on dust2 had to go into overtime to determine the overall winner. The mix-team managed to pull out victorious in the end and can be looking forward to WCG finals in Cologne.

Sad situation. Now it is clear that there are no strong teams in Russia. I think it's not OK, when a mix (ofc hiskilled) wins against team, which had no roster changes more than half year and consists of very experienced players. P.S. One week ago there was match in a swedish Steelseries KoTH AWTR vs. Da-MiGhtY. And these Next-Door-guys AWTR won against zet, striker, Delpan, walle and Tentpole. THIS IS TEAMPLAY.

same as norway dude! We had players in NoA, SK eol won cpl. Now we have 3 mix teams who constantly change their roster! I just hope oxzyn keep it together!
