First 8 for Global Challenge in Montreal

The second Global Challenge is to take place in Montreal, Canada. Today ESL releases the first eight teams to be attending the event.
Montreal will be host for the second Global Challenge. The event will take place at the Sport Compact Performance Trade Fair, 17th until 19th of October. A total of sixteen Counter-Strike 1.6 teams will be at the event, fighting for a total prize purse of 50.000$. Furthermore, the teams to place first and second will secure their continental spots for the Extreme Masters III Global Finals.

The event collides with the Danish WCG qualifier, so do not expect to see mTw attending the event. The next Global Challenge will take place in Dubai 18-24th of October. Teams attending the event in Montreal can also attend the Dubai event, as a local pre-qualifier will take place from 18-21st of October. Stay tuned for more news regarding the Global Challenges.
