Former ALTERNATE member Zainab "zAAz" Turkie has returned to activity in WRTP.

Zainab "⁠zAAz⁠" Turkie had been out of action since the summer of 2015, when her then team, Bad Monkey Gaming, opted to skip the ESWC finals, in Montreal, with the players going their separate ways soon afterwards.

With Intel Challenge Katowice and Copenhagen Games just around the corner, the 24-year-old has now decided to link up with WRTP, in which she will reunite with former BMG teammates Julia "⁠juliano⁠" Kiran and Ksenia "⁠vilga⁠" Kluenkova.

zAAz reunites with juliano and vilga in WRTP

The former ALTERNATE member will step into the shoes of Terri "⁠KiTTy-KaT⁠" Mulvey, who had been part of the team since their creation, in May, under Games4u.se.

"I took a break for six months because I needed it, and now I am back with so much energy and hunger for victories," Turkie told HLTV.org.

"I am very excited and happy to be back playing with these girls again."

WRTP, whose biggest achievement to date is a runners-up finish at ESWC, remain on the lookout for a new organisation after parting ways with Games4u, and can be contacted by email at [email protected].

I wouldnt say female cs growing, I'd say its getting smaller and somehow the skill doesnt seem to matter when finding a team in female CS. I've played with alot better girls (skillwise) than the current female scene. Its so saddening

There is alot of mixed teams, but there are no tier 1/2 female cs gamers. This is why we dont see them that often.
