Electronic Sports League announces ESL Pro Series in Scandinavia.

Scandinavia will for this day on, have it’s on ESL Pro Series. Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden gathered in one league. The league will consist of 10 teams fighting for a total prize purse of 16.000€ plus IFNG and win bonuses. Each Scandinavian country will have two teams represented in the ESL Pro Series Scandinavia, remaining two spots will be handed to teams qualifying through the 4 nation qualifier.

Prize money distribution

1st – 7.500€
2nd – 5.000€
3rd – 2.500€
4th – 1.000€

Bonus per win – 50€
IFNG win bonus – 1.000€

The first season will have a series of invited teams. For the time being there are loads of events and qualifiers going on, which makes in nearly impossible for the top teams to attend their national qualifier. Due to this, following teams have been invited and confirmed to be playing in the ESL Pro Series Scandinavia.

All countries will have their own qualifiers, which will allow the teams to grab one of the available slots for their country. There will not be EPS.dk anymore, instead there will be EAS to determine teams how are candidates to qualify for the new seaon.
