The third Global Challenge is set to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Today the first set of participating teams is revealed.

While most are looking forward to the first Global Challenge in Los Angeles, the first nine teams attending the Global Challenge in Dubai has been revealed. The Global Challenge in Dubai will take place at Gitex Shopper Expo, 18th to 24th of October. On the line is a prize purse of 50.000$, which sixteen teams will be competing for. Also up for grabs are continental spots for the Extreme Masters III Global Finals, which will be handed to the continent of the winning team and the second placing team.

So far nine teams have been confirmed to be attending the Global Challenge in Dubai, the teams are:

As you might have noticed, the event will start on the ending day of the Global Challenge in Montreal. The reason for this is that a local qualifier will take place before the main tournament will kick off. Four local teams will have a shot at competing versus the world elite coming to Dubai. Still three teams are to be announced, which will end up with twelve teams in total, plus the four teams qualified through the local qualifier.
