Made in Brazil have dropped a strong hint that they are about to make a return to competitive gaming.

mibr were one of the most successful Brazilian organisations during the 2000s, when their Counter-Strike team was among the best in the world and won a handful of international tournaments, including ESWC 2006, DreamHack Winter 2007, GameGune 2008 and the IEM III American Championship Finals.

Throughout their history, mibr had some of the finest Brazilian players to have graced the game and also international stars such as Ola "⁠elemeNt⁠" Moum and Jonas "⁠bsl⁠" Alsaker Vikan. Johan "⁠vesslan⁠" Ryman, one of the very first top players in Sweden, was at one point the team's coach.

mibr attended several international events during the 2000s

In 2012, mibr closed their doors indefinitely, and since then the community had been speculating about a potential return from the organisation. And today, more than three years after their last Facebook update, mibr posted a picture with a message that reads: "We heard the calling."

According to a report from Teamplay.com.br, mibr owner Paulo Velloso will be working with Connection Gaming chief Marcelo Rodante to rebuild from the ground up that which is one of the most storied gaming organisations in the Americas, with more updates expected to be revealed soon.

Not everyone seems to be excited about a return from Made in Brazil, however. Luminosity Gaming member Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau, who represented the organisation between 2006 and 2009, wrote on Twitter that, if mibr do return, they will be "a joke" and will tarnish a name that was once very successful.

No, Keyd didn't have VISA issue. They was unavailable to play minor like GA, bz they have one player that played the last major (nak as coach of LG).. And the other two teams that had problem, was just bz the time to get it. Otherwise Keyd team already said they'll stay 1 month in EU bootcamp next month. And I'm pretty sure that next major at least one vacancy will be destinate to SA team. Not more this thing to play in NA to decide 3~4 teams that will attend to go

The obvious move would be acquiring the LG lineup. mibr owner has shitloads of money, if he really wants he can do it, but he would have to spent a lot to provide everything Luminosity is already providing and even more, to give the players a reason leave LG. If it's not the LG lineup, then it should be GA. They have potential HEN1 can be a true awp star, felps is a solid aimer and boltz has lots of experience. Then the last option in my opinion would be building a team picking good players from other teams to build a decent lineup, like: nak + pava + yeL, would be a good trio to start.
