PGL Regional Minor Championship EuropeHR edge Lemondogs in Bucharest
HellRaisers have taken down down Lemondogs 16-14 in a close matchup on de_dust2.
Day 2 of PGL Regional Minor Championship Europe started out with a match between HellRaisers and Lemondogs. Kyrylo "ANGE1" Karasiow & co chose to start on the CT-side.
The first round began with trades, resulting in a 3v3 after-plant situation. Mattias "khobra" Heidnert’s 1v2 victory ensured the round win for Lemondogs. Despite this, HR picked up the following round without losing a player.
The Swedes were able to win rounds, but, they couldn’t initiate a streak as they kept exchanging rounds with HR (6-4). Just when the Swedish team got two rounds in a row, Martin "STYKO" Styk defused the bomb with the help of a smoke grenade (7-5). Lemondogs finished it off strongly as they won the last three rounds of the half, taking an 8-7 lead.
ANGE1 guided his team in the comeback
Adam "maektig" Widell and khobra stopped their opponent’s A long push, dropping the C4 and securing the pistol round of the second half. Unlike the first half, the Swedes didn’t lose their advantage and picked up the following three rounds with Jerry "xelos" Råberg’s anti-eco ace in the eighteenth round (12-7).
HR came right back with a round but lost the following one and asked for a tactical timeout (13-8). The timeout paid off as they secured six rounds in a row, bringing the score to 14-13. After a Lemondogs timeout, maektig clutched in a 1v2 and picked up the round for his team. This didn’t stop HR’s hot run as they got the last two rounds of the game.
HellRaisers move on to the winners’ match and they will play the winner of DenDD vs. PixelFire. Lemondogs, on the other hand, will play for their tournament life against the loser of the same match.
