Renegades, MongolZ to MLG qualifier

Renegades and The MongolZ have secured spots at the offline qualifier for MLG Columbus after reaching the grand final of the Asia Minor Championship.

Day three of the Asia Minor, in Taipei, opened with a thrilling game between CyberZen - the only Chinese team still in contention following TyLoo's disqualification - and Renegades, who had looked a bit off the place during the group stage.

Still, the Australian side bust out of the gates looking like a real contender, and took the lead in the series with a 16-8 victory on de_cobblestone, with Aaron "AZR" Ward and Luke "Havoc" Paton picking up 20+frags apiece.

Renegades breezed past CyberZen

Mirage was the map that followed and it was a one-way street from start to finish as Renegades ran out 16-4 victors thanks to stellar displays produced by Yaman "yam" Ergenekon and Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill.

braindead that valve managed to shoot themselves in the foot by not vetting qz before TyLoo actually arrived at the qualifier. now no chinese teams after the best one got disqualified, so they lose a couple hundred thousand asian viewers just because of their half-arsed preparations. dumbasses. especially since MLG is held in america with their shitty timezone. no chance this major will beat viewer records.

ESL banned TyLoo qz after LESS than one hour of "investigation" and the source being a reddit thread which in turn was sourced by a HLTV thread. yes a HLTV thread thats like convicting me of killing your mom after being on trial for less than one hour with evidence being a neighour hearing from a dog at the crime scene

Tucks didn't play for chiefs because of his ban but do you see chiefs fans complaining? No. Tyloo had the option to play with a standin but didn't and then got dq'd. 1000% tyloos fault.
