Two final spots for the MLG Columbus Main Qualifier will be decided in the coming days during the EU/CIS MLG Last Chance pre-qualifiers which will be hosted by CEVO; a schedule has now been released.

Running from February 2-5, the EU/CIS MLG Last Chance pre-qualifiers will hand out the final two, all-expenses-paid spots to the MLG Columbus Main Qualifier, a 16-team event from which eight teams shall advance as 'Challengers' into the upcoming Major.

Eight teams were directly invited by CEVO to the Last Chance pre-qualifier, and the final three were decided by the second and 3-4th place finishing teams at the PGL Regional Minor Championship, which took place this past weekend.

E-frag.net will have another chance to make the Main Qualifier for MLG Columbus

The EU/CIS Last Chance pre-qualifiers will be a single elimination, best-of-three bracket with eleven teams involved and randomised seeds.

The schedule has now been released by CEVO and early match-ups appear as follows:

Norwegian teams had their chances to qualify for the EU minor. This qualifier is exclusively for the CIS & EU minor runner-ups and teams with players that attended Cluj.

First of all, this is wrong; 6 (Empire, E-Frag, Arcade, Method, PENTA, and PixelFire) were invited on based on their Minor placements. The remaining 5 are easily explained: ENCE has allu (who was at Cluj with NiP) Lounge has peet (Vexed) SK has Pimp (Dignitas) YP has DavCost (Flipsid3) Ancient has pronax (fnatic)
