ESWC returns to France

The Electronics Sports World Cup 2009 Finals will be hosted back in its original location in Paris, France.

After the ESWC 2008 Finals which were played only a month ago in San Jose,  USA the ESWC organising committee announce that the 2009 Finals will be returning to the same location of the 2006 Finals and 2008 ESWC Masters at the Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy in France. The event is set to take place next year between June 26th to 28th.

The seventh ESWC campaign kicks off in Athens next month and will continue with national preliminaries and more 'Masters' tournaments until the grand finals next year. The Athens event begins on October 18.

No more news on ESWC 2009 has been revealed just yet but HLTV.org will bring you more when it comes.
