We have put together all the information that you will be needing to follow the Game Show Global eSports Cup, kicking off on Thursday. Read on to find the group draw, prize distribution, casters and more.

Taking place inside Game Show's studio, in Vilnius, Lithuania, the offline finals of the Global eSports Cup will feature the leading teams from the European, CIS and North American divisions, which were played out online.

The venue itself will be closed to the public, but fans will be able to watch the matches live and meet the players at the Multikino cinema complex located inside the Ozas shopping centre.

EnVyUs will face CLG on Thursday morning

The tournament sees the eight participating teams split into two double-elimination groups. The group winners will automatically advance to the semi-finals, while the runners-up will secure spots in the quarter-final stage. All matches will be played in a best-of-three format.

All matches will be streamed on Game Show's Azubu channels in English and Russian.

DaboO is okey. I have a real big problem listening to him for one reason tho. He tries so hard to talk all the time, and since english is not his main language he loose his train of thought way to often. Because of that the impression of him becomes that he talks for talkings sake, and sometimes comes off as a little stupid(not that I think he is stupid, he just sound stupid because he tries to hard). If he could learn to relax a bit more and talk a little slower, while also becoming more fluid and get a hold of his sentencebuilding, he would be alot better and easier to listen to.

No, if HLTV has it right, the format is exactly the same as StarLadder, where the Group Deciders are only for seeding.

Well ofc, but you said there is a 6 team playoff which is wrong. Group deciders decide the second team from the group to reach playoffs. Firs team to advance is winner of Group Winners match.

But how doesn't the format make any sense? I mean it has been used before at starladder as you posted and also on ESL ESEA Pro League, and at other tournaments. The only thing that stands out is the third place decider, which I think is a cool addition.

This is quite possibly the worst caster line up I've ever seen. Daboo literally can't be listened to. Hopefully Metuz will be enough for me to not have to mute it. On second thoughts, fuck it. I'm literally going to watch the Russian stream just so I don't have to mute and can hear the gun sounds.
