Império Multimédia with CS:GO team

Império Multimédia is one of the biggest computer stores in Portugal and they are now introducing their own team to the CS:GO competitive scene

The team began revealing their roster a few weeks ago and started off with a bang when they announced that the team captain would be Ruben "⁠Rub3nix⁠" Santos, the former coach for k1ck.

The remaining players were announced in the following days. Tiago "⁠marq⁠" Marques and Fábio "⁠zneiL⁠" Vasconcelos from Alientech would be the first duo to fill Team Império Multimédia's roster.

The fourth member being presented was Joel "⁠gax⁠" Meira, who hasn't been active since late November of 2015. The fifth and last member announced by Team Império Multimédia was Humberto "⁠SOULZOR⁠" Monteiro, who was playing for For The Win eSports before changing teams.

gax's new team plans to have their competitive debut in the first weekend of February

Inside the country, you can't have better than that. They can still attend tournaments (possibly win them). But Império Multimedia's main objective is to get a bigger crowd and get some attention from PC savvy guys n stuff...

Well, some top players have signed contracts with their teams/organizations and terminating of those contracts is never cheap and can lead to an expense of thousands of euros. It's a risk not every organization can take, especially not knowing what results the team will bring.

Yes, "one of the biggest", where's the source on that? There's a lot of PC shops in Portugal and a lot with reputation and this one being "one of the biggest" even though I've never heard of it I'd like to know how the writer came to that conclusion considering this shop even only has one store on the country. Considering also the facebook likes metric with an actual big PC shop in Portugal (chip7) these guys have like 6 times more likes and a ton of shops across the country. The way it is on this article just sounds like cheap advertisement and a false one for that matter. It's one shop across a sea of shops in Portugal, not one of the biggest.

It is obviously advertising the shop since it's anouncing it's team. Império Multimédia is somewhat well known PC store in Portugal. Weird that you never heard about it.
