CG add freddieb, disco doplan

CG have acquired the services of Fredrik "freddieb" Buö and Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun, William "draken" Sundin has told HLTV.org.

CG made headlines at the PGL Minor by defeating LDLC White and taking PENTA to a three-map series, two of which went into overtimes.

At the same time, CG showed signs of inexperience, as they couldn't close out the PENTA series despite significant leads on both the second and the third map.

draken and company create a fully Swedish lineup

Shortly after the event ended the Swedish part of the team decided to go a separate way to the one of Christian "⁠rezex⁠" Bjerregaard and Jesse "⁠zehN⁠" Linjala, apparently due to a language barrier and problems outside of the game.

Fredrik "⁠freddieb⁠" Buö and Joakim "⁠disco doplan⁠" Gidetun, both of whom have previously played together in Aftermatch, will be filling in the shoes of the two departees to make the lineup fully Swedish.

"We kicked zehN and rezex because of the language barrier and because we saw more potential in freddieb and disco doplan. We were even talking about it before the PGL minor as well, because it wasn't really fun playing and some players didnt "click"." Sundin told HLTV.org.

"Our next event as a team will probably be Copenhagen Games, but now in February me, doplan and freddie will attend Nordic Masters on different rosters with mixteams."

CG's new lineup stands as follows:

William "⁠draken⁠" Sundin
Andreas "⁠mOkEn⁠" Karlsson
Fredrik "⁠REZ⁠" Sterner
Fredrik "⁠freddieb⁠" Buö
Joakim "⁠disco doplan⁠" Gidetun

They'll go nowhere. It was rezex' in game leading that got them that far in pgl. This team will trickle down to tier 4 like some other Swedish lineups. They had the potential to break into tier 2. Damn. But hey prove me wrong

I think zehN called in PGL , not sure. Still , these two (well maybe not doplan , he's good) seems like a downgrade in terms of skill and they said they've been playing with the old lineup for a long time which you could see in their matches. Not sure what was the final reason to split but I have a feeling they blew their chances to come out big.

Various reasons. They probably write news about CG since they were in the PGL minor and beat teams like Hellraisers. Disco doplan is currently playing in FPL, but I'm not sure about freddieb. Nonetheless, both of them are one of the best players in Sweden and deserve to be written about; all to expose them to the world.

I played in faceit vs disco and I was like he must be cheating or something. After 2 days I see him and one other guy who he premade before wrecking s1mple and niko in fpl. I was like wtf, where are these guys coming from with 0 experience but with perfect aim. I'm not sure if he cheated his way up here but gl with cg and I'm waiting to see how you perform at LAN.
