Acer Predator Masters powered by Intel Season 2 FinalsCSGL, ALTERNATE move on in LB
Two teams have exited the competition at Acer Predator Masters Season 2 Finals, as Vexed have been eliminated by domestic comrades CSGL 2-1 (de_mirage 16-10, de_train 6-16, de_cbble 21-18), while ALTERNATE defeated LDLC White 2-1 (de_cache 21-16, de_cbble 7-16, de_mirage 16-10).
Day two in Krefeld, Germany has started with a Polish derby between Vexed and CSGL in the lower bracket.
The latter team have kicked things off with a strong Counter-Terrorist side on de_mirage, picking up a 12-3 lead on the defence, before expectedly closing out map one after a bit of a struggle initially, at 16-10.
CSGL survived the Polish lower-bracket derby
Vexed put their foot down on map two, de_train, where they managed to pull off a similar feat on their Terrorist side, and not even Michał "MICHU" Müller's heroics could stop the inevitable end to map two at 16-6.
The series was to be decided on de_cbble, where CSGL once again had a great start, turning in a 11-4 worthy Terrorist-side performance. That didn't seem to be enough switching over to Counter-Terrorists however, as Vexed's offence was as good and the game went into overtime. Paweł "innocent" Mocek's side finished off what they started and sent Bartosz "Hyper" Wolny and company packing at 21-18.

LDLC White and ALTERNATE aTTaX duked it out next, with LDLC White sticking to their usual de_cache pick as the first map. The beginning looked dire for the Frenchmen, as it took them seven rounds before starting to claw back in.
In the end, six rounds on the CT side was enough for them to take the game to overtime, but there it was ALTERNATE to pick up six rounds for only one in return to snatch map one at 21-16.
ALTERNATE made it through day two
Their own pick, de_cbble, didn't go as planned however. LDLC White picked up nine rounds as Terrorists and had little to no trouble finishing it off on the CT side, only allowing ALTERNATE to get a single round on the board for 16-7.
It came down to de_mirage, where the Germans crushed their opposition's attacks over and over during the first half, before they switched over at a convincing 11-4. After losing the initial pistol round ALTERNATE quickly clinched match point, but it took them a few more rounds before they closed it out at 16-10.
