Team Preparation have announced their first foray into the competitive Counter-Strike scene by securing the services of the Scandinavian squad known as fan jävla.

Created only last month, the Scandinavian side feature three Danish and two Swedish players, all of whom have international experience through their time in teams like SK Gaming, WinFakt and Anexis.

With Nordic Masters taking place this weekend and no organisation to support them, the team set up a crowdfunding stream on Wednesday in an effort to raise the funds necessary to attend the event.

The goal amount was quickly raised, but the money will instead be used to cover additional costs as the team ended up signing for Preparation, a Swedish organisation founded in September 2015 that also supports a Hearthstone squad.

"We are looking forward to playing under their name, and with their support we will be able to focus on our gameplay and reach the top," team manager Kevin "Kevz" Mikkelsen said in a statement.

"Our first event will be the Nordic Masters, after we will have a bootcamp in Copenhagen to help us prepare for the Pantamera CS:GO Challenge."

Team Preparation, who have been drawn in the same group as Optimum, Publiclir and Temporary orgless for the Nordic Masters, have the following lineup:

No one got scammed, this deal happened around midnight tonight, so it was way after the stream. And how would it ever be a scam?

Because the idea behind them receiving donations was because of them not having a sponsor to get them to the event, I'd just really like to know where those 1k+$ are going to now that they have a sponsor
