MOUZ kicked things off with a pistol round victory on de_mirage as Terrorists due to smart play by Timo "⁠Spiidi⁠" Richter, and survived the first anti-eco. The second one proved to be detrimental for them as they ran into Patrik "⁠Zero⁠" Žúdel who picked up three quick P250 headshots in connector.

They replied for 4-1 in the following round, but then Zero stepped up to the plate again with another triple in a 1-on-3 scenario on the B bombsite, setting HellRaisers up for a five-round streak.

That was extended to seven on the back of a good retake on the A bombsite, before MOUZ found a way to success with barely any equipment at all. After a successful A take, the Germany-based team ran into a stack on the B bombsite in the last round due to a good read by HellRaisers, who switched over at 9-6.

Johannes "⁠nex⁠" Maget's double in an A retake in the second pistol round helped the team survive a scary situation, as well as two more anti-ecos in similar retake situations on the A bombsite.

Yet another A bombsite take eventually worked for Kyrylo "⁠ANGE1⁠" Karasiow's team, breaking MOUZ' economy due to the close anti-ecos previously. nex and Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač combined for five kills after only buying pistols however, with the latter winning a 1-on-2 due to a smart, sneaky play.

The four following rounds were exchanged evenly between the two for 12-12, but with MOUZ taking the lead afterwards, HellRaisers called for the timeout. 

It didn't seem to have worked as this time MOUZ read the situation perfectly, but playing for overtime did as the same feat was repeated by HellRaisers and Martin "⁠STYKO⁠" Styk came out on top of a nail-biting 1-on-1 at 14-15 to take the game to overtime.

Chris "⁠chrisJ⁠" de Jong finally stepped up there to help the team take three in a row on the CT side and and qualify for the major on the other side at 19-15 without taking any time to close it out.
