MLG Main Qualifier day 2 photos

The first team of the day to go through to the major is G2 who managed to push FlipSid3 into the decider match against Tempo Storm, who had just won the elimination match against Selfless. The decider between the Ukrainian and Brazilian sides will be played tomorrow, with the victor earning a spot at the next major.

The next mach saw CLG best SK, sending the Danish squad packing after they couldn't keep the form they've recently had online at the MLG Arena in Columbus. Right after, SPLYCE earned their spot by beating Vexed and sending them into the decider match tomorrow.

Cloud9 kept their hopes alive by eliminating Dignitas, the heavy favorites before coming into this event, and will face Renegades, who lost to Gambit in the following match, for a spot at the major.

The last match was a best-of-three nail biter between HellRaisers and Team Liquid, which went down to the line on the decider map with the North American team able to pull off a comeback on de_dust2 to secure their spot in an emotive evening for the team's newcomer Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev.
