Excalibur Cup #1 with $5,000

An eight-team, $5,000 online tournament called Excalibur Cup, played from March 4-6, has been announced.

Excalibur Cup #1 will feature eight names in total, including BX3, gBots, Publiclir.se and more.

The teams have been distributed into two groups of four, played in a GSL-style best-of-one format, barring the best-of-three deciders:

Group A	Group B
Arcade	BX3
gBots	AR8
GameAgents	eXtatus
Publiclir.se	x6tence

Two teams from each group will then advance to best-of-three playoffs. The entire tournament will be played from March 4-6, with the schedule looking as follows:

March 4 - Group A

March 5 - Group B

March 6 - Playoffs

The $5,000 prizepool will be distributed among top three teams followingly:

1. $3,000
2. $1,500
3. $500

All matches will be featured on HLTV.org and streamed on CSGO.one's Twich channels in English and Russian.

The tournament changes the prizepoll from 5.000 to 1.000 2 days before the tournaments starts so a lot of teams like BX3 or gBots has refused to play it.
