TyLoo dominate Malmo qualifier

TyLoo have won the Asian DreamHack Masters Malmö qualifier, defeating all opposition without dropping more than 10 rounds on a single map.

Only days after changing the lineup, TYLOO were set to take part in the closed Asian qualifier for DreamHack Masters Malmö among names such as VG.CyberZen, Immunity, The MongolZ and more.

As expected, the two biggest Chinese teams made it into the semi-finals alongside the aforementioned Australians and even, quite surprisingly, Signature.

AttackeR's new team powered through the qualifier with relative ease

TYLOO powered their way through all opponents in a convincing fashion, starting with dream[S]cape and MVP.karnal before the last-four stage. VG.CyberZen, on the other hand, ran into trouble on single maps versus Threats and Legacy OCE before escaping Signature by the skin of their teeth in the semis.

The two Chinese giants then met in the grand final, where YuLun "Summer" Cai's team continued on the same path as during the previous stages, as they only dropped eight and ten rounds versus VG.CyberZen.

CS aiming has been a strength for the Asian teams historically (if you even know about CS history), it's just about how much time and effort they put into teamwork and discipline. In 1.6 they had top tier to tier 2 teams in Korea and China without even having a serious scene whatsoever.

lol what are you talking about? Did you just start following CS a year ago? Wnv was the best team in the world for a period in 2005-2006, and Korea always had top tier to tier 2 teams, without even having a scene. In 2005 they were pretty much one defuse stop away from being the top team in the world.

yes, but I mean that G2 and mousesports are in the same qualifier, and both cannot qualify because they are fighting each other in semi-finals, while next team to qualify is csgl/flipsid3, and in my opinion both mousesports and g2 are better than the other two, so the bracket is kinda lame, the tournament won't be as stacked as possible
