Luminosity pass mousesports test

Luminosity have joined NiP in the winners' match of group A after another close game, as they passed their mousesports test 16-13 on de_mirage.

After the first game of day one at MLG Columbus saw Ninjas in Pyjamas and FlipSid3 go head to head in an overtime battle, from which the former came out victorious, it was MOUZ' turn to take on Luminosity on de_mirage.

Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač's kicked things off with a triple in a lurk as Terrorists in the pistol round, however their spread-out default backfired in the following anti-forcebuy as Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David got a triple of his own.

Two anti-ecos went swiftly in favor of the Brazilians before MOUZ got the first full gunround on board. They could never string more than one round in a row together, however, as the following three went Luminosity's way, and three more after NiKo's team picked up only one despite his heroics.

NiKo's heroics weren't enough to close out Mirage

The halftime score showed 10-5 for Gabriel "⁠FalleN⁠" Toledo's squad after Johannes "⁠nex⁠" Maget turned things around with a deagle triple in a forcebuy. NiKo's insane triple in the second pistol round helped them sway it back to 10-8. Lincoln "⁠fnx⁠" Lau snatched the first gunround though following a 1-on-2 clutch.

At 12-8 NiKo worked wonders again, as he picked up an AK-47 from an early trade and got two more kills in an unfavorable situation to convert a nearly full eco into a round win. Once again his team couldn't string more rounds together though as Luminosity picked up two in a row with an eco included.

Due to a lot of players dying in the previous rounds Luminosity found themselves in a double eco after just one round lost, but fnx made sure it wasn't too close as his triple in a well-thought-out fake pushed his team to match point. That was turned into a victory only two rounds afterwards when the Brazilian lineup managed to win in a forcebuy, 3-on-4 afterplant situation.

Mousesports is actually better in personal skill too bad they can't play mirage: -while retake they rush from 1 position (like in the last round) -stupid positioning(nobody checked connector in 3 rounds) -bad luck I am not saying that LG didn't deserve that win but LG have to step up if they want to take MLG still pretty decent peformance

Luminosity didnt pass the test of mousesports (according to the author, therefore not mousesports' test) -> Luminosity pass (the) mousesports test I think that's what the author intended.

But the logical conclusion to draw from that game is that Luminosity were able to pass the test provided to them by mousesports. Mousesports took the game to them and were able to provide a challenge.
