NiP managed to take down mousesports 2-1 to qualify for the playoffs of MLG Columbus 2016, doing so with their coach Björn 'THREAT' Pers playing as a stand-in. We had a talk with Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg after the game.

Ninjas in Pyjamas walked away with a 2-1 victory over MOUZ in the first match of the third day of the MLG Columbus Major and advanced to the playoffs, thereby securing their spot as 'Legends' while playing with coach Björn "⁠THREAT⁠" Pers as a stand-in for Jacob "⁠pyth⁠" Mourujärvi.

HLTV.org spoke with veteran Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg about the series as well as about the team's goals for the Columbus Major and about how playing with THREAT impacted the decider match.

I actually like your style, much better then the guy with the teeth before you ;P You actually dare to ask questions like the defuse question and about pyth and so on. Not only the standard boring stuff. I would like you to ask a bit more about the teamspirit of teams though. What did threat do to them to make them play good again? Did he have individual talks saying there the best or what? wat iz threat magix?

Yep. He was NiP's weakness on CT side (too hard to hold middle alone on cache) but he is a great support player when they are on T side.

D2 is NiPs one of the best map. Even when they were in slump, they managed to beat teams like fnatic and tsm in d2. Historically overpass is NiPs worst map and their record in cbbl is not good either. I don't think mouse did any mistake. Only problem was, as f0rest pointed out in the interview, they have been practicing those 2 maps recently. And also NiP must have seen their game again flipside and had a good idea how they will play.
