Stream.me Gauntlet II with $10k
The second edition of the Stream.me Gauntlet will yet again offer $10,000 for the North American region.
The first edition of the Stream.me Gauntlet, an online North American league offering $10,000 in prize money, was won by Tempo Storm who took down Obey.Alliance 3-1 in the grand final.
With a second edition now forthcoming, the Stream.me Gauntlet II will yet again offer a total of $10,000 in prize money with a $10 entry per player and a 32-team limit (sixteen team minimum) involved. In addition, CEVO's system—including rules, vetoes, and servers—will be made use of to help host the tournament.
The tournament will feature a double elimination bracket with a best-of-three upper bracket and best-of-one games for the lower bracket. The lower bracket finals will be best-of-three and the grand final will require the team advancing from the lower bracket to win two best-of-threes.
The prize-pool breakdown for the Stream.me Gauntlet II will be:
1. - $7,000
2. - $2,000
3. - $1,000
Teams have until the end of April 11 to register for the tournament (via a signup link which can be found here) and the event itself will run from April 12 through May 18.
