StarLadder reveal CIS Minor details
Starladder will yet again host the CIS Minor, with the second iteration taking place in Moscow and offering $50,000 as well as two spots to the next Major offline qualifier.
With the next Major confirmed at ESL One Cologne this coming summer, the various tournament organisers have gotten into gear with announcements about the next wave of regional Minors that will award spots to the Major offline qualifier (about which details are not yet known).
As a reminder, all four Minors will feature $50,000 prize pools and also award two spots apiece to the ESL One Cologne offline qualifier, as opposed to one spot as was previously done at the Minors.
StarLadder have again announced the details for the second CIS Minor, which will be open to 12 countries from the former CIS region (the three Baltic area countries of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia have been this time omitted and will likely compete in the European region).

StarLadder will host the CIS Minor in Moscow this time around
The first stage of the Minor will be two online Open Qualifiers, which will run from April 11-17. All matches will be best-of-one, with maps decided by a veto process.

Russia |
Belarus |
Georgia |

The top four teams from each Open Qualifier (eight total) will then advance to an online Closed Qualifier, which will feature another eight teams invited by StarLadder.
Finally, the top four teams from the closed qualifier will advance to an offline final in Moscow, Russia, where they will also meet four teams invited by StarLadder. These eight teams will be divided into two groups of four, with an assumed playoff stage occurring afterward.

1. $30,000
2. $15,000
3. $5,000
