SK face lanklan in IOL final

Two intense days of Counter-Strike conclude tonight as SK Gaming and lanklan face each other in the IOL grand final.

Thirty two teams had qualified for the IOL playoffs this weekend in Stockholm in the famous internet café Inferno Online. The playoffs was divided into two set, one team from each set would advance to the final.
The first day saw the Global Challenge winners from SK Gaming grab the spot, when defeating Begrip in the first playoff set.

Second day should see interesting teams. Made in Brazil received a wildcard for the tournament, while AndThenSome.fi, lanklan and more had already qualified. These four teams should face all go unto the semi-finals. Most interesting was when AndThemSome.fi sent out Made in Brazil. lanklan then faced the Finnish team in the grand final, which the Swedes won with a 2:0 victory.

The winner will walk away with 30.000 SEK (~3108€), second place will get SteelSeries products worth 12.000 SEK (~1243€), third place will get DreamHack Winther tickets.

The third place match has already started, with Begrip taking on AndThenSome.fi.
