TheMongolz win Rising Stars SEA Cup

The first Rising Stars Promotional Cup brought eight teams from Asia together as they battled it out in the $5,000 online competition. After the group stage, which had a GSL format, The MongolZ, nxl, inchk1ng, and Signature managed to advance to the playoffs.

The Indonesian side nxl faced inchk1ng in their semi-final matchup and emerged victorious with a 2-0 score. The second semi-final was between The MongolZ and Signature and the former picked it up 2-0 to become nxl's opponents in the grand final.

The MongolZ started out strong and won Dust2 16-10 after gaining a 13-2 advantage in the first half of the grand final. Although the map changed to Cache, one thing did not change and that was The MongolZ securing the map as they won the grand final 2-0 to become the champions without dropping a single map.
