Global Challenge in Montreal has found its winner, as fnatic defeat SK Gaming on two maps.

It has been a long time for fnatic without a win in a tournament. With second places, bad performance and lately not any luck what so ever, it is now fnatics turn to win a major. With a revenge win against Evil Geniuses, fnatic seem to have regained the strength they have lacked for so long. In the grand final a well playing SK Gaming was waiting for fnatic. SK Gaming won the Global Challenge in Los Angeles, while fnatic went out with a big boom. As fnatic came from the lowerbracket, they had to win two maps in order to win overall, while SK Gaming only needed one win to secure the golden trophy.

What should have been another Global Challenge win for SK Gaming, turned out to not go through. Their countrymen from fnatic simply beat them to it, two times on inferno. This also secure Europe another two extra spots for the Extreme Masters III Global Finals, while America will go empty handed this time.

If SK picked train or dust2, the score would be different. I really can't understand why SK picked inferno again... Did they want to prove, that they are able to win with fnatic on this map? They paid for the mistake. Hopefully this won't happen again. Anyway, GG fnatic, you are back guys!

rofl think like this they where not home but in a strange place for them whit no team practice whit no new strats only playing respown and aim maps and they pull a win agains SK, i really think that shows that they are still n1 and they want to keep that spot and will not let it go whit out a really good fight

I dont understand why you guys keep on saying SpawN's name... SK with SpawN -> 0 major tournaments won. SK with zet -> a couple of mounths together and already won a major tournament. Obviously SK are playing much better with zet than with spawn so stfu fanboys :>

But zet isn't playing very well though. Although i think that he is better than spawn at the moment. But, as you say, SK are playing better lately, won a tournament. In my opinion thats because other players are playing better. Allen, Robban, walle doing well, too.
