Hiko: "Closing games a mental block"

We caught up with Spencer "Hiko" Martin in Leicester to talk about Liquid's changes, their struggles with closing out games and ESL Pro League Season 3 Finals matches overall.

Coming off of recent changes and a semi-final finish at DreamHack Austin, Liquid couldn't close out a 14-2 lead against Ninjas in Pyjamas in the opening round of groups at ESL Pro League Season 3 Finals.

On day two their domestic match-up with Cloud9 as the elimination match ended up going their way following an overtime on Dust2 and a comfortable victory on Cobblestone.

In the following interview, Spencer "⁠Hiko⁠" Martin talks about the departure of James "⁠Jame^s⁠" O'Connor and Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev, their two matches in Leicester so far and struggling with closing out matches:
