ENCE finalise playoff team list

The two teams met earlier in the tournament in the teams' Group B opening match. There ENCE was able to defeat GODSENT in overtime 19-17, so, much was expected from this match as well.

The first map was decided to be Train and was chosen by the Swedish team. It was ENCE to strike first, however, as they ended up winning the first half on their CT side 10-5, thanks to some great play from Juho "⁠juho⁠" Lampinen. The second half also heavily favored the Finns as ENCE was able to close out the match 16-6.

The second map was, of course, ENCE's map choice which was Cache. In an interesting turn of events it was GODSENT this time that won the first half 10-5 on the Finnish team's map choice. The similarities didn't end there though as the Swedes, led by Simon "⁠twist⁠" Eliasson ended up winning ENCE's map by the exact same score as in the first map, 16-6.

On Mirage, the final map of the series, the stage was set for an amazing finish to the day. Earlier, when these two teams met on this map we saw them go into overtime in a battle that was close every step up the way.

This time around ENCE raced to a ten round lead before GODSENT was able to win their first round. It seemed like they would be able to string together many more rounds, however, GODSENT was able to scramble together four rounds before the half ended.

The second half saw the Swedish team completely turn the match around as they rallied back against the Finns to finally come within one round at 14-13 in favor of ENCE. These were the final rounds that the Finnish team allowed, however, as they were able to win the last couple and take the final map and series.

This was the last match of the day as we now know all of the teams that will play in the playoffs. Three playoff matches will be played tomorrow starting with the first two semi-finals followed by the upper bracket final. Tomorrow's matches will start at 12:00 when Orbit takes on HellRaisers.
