Orbit surpass HellRaisers at EU Minor

The playoffs have begun at the DreamHack Regional Minor Championship Europe at DH Tours 2016 as HellRaisers and Orbit faced off in a best-of-three series to advance to the upper bracket final.

HellRaisers started on the T-side on Dust2 and secured the pistol round but lost a 5vs3 in the second round. The Bulgarians grabbed five more rounds to bring the score to 6-1 but Kyrylo "⁠ANGE1⁠" Karasiow's entry kills in two consecutive rounds helped HellRaisers get two more (6-3). Despite their inferior weapons, Orbit picked up the last round and led 10-5 at halftime.

Martin "⁠STYKO⁠" Styk and Vladyslav "⁠bondik⁠" Nechyporchuk were in a 2vs4 in the first round of the second half but they came on top of it and snatched the round. After winning the anti-ecos, HellRaisers were victorious in the first weapon round thanks to Patrik "⁠Zero⁠" Žúdel's 1vs2 clutch (10-9). Although Orbit managed to win a round, HellRaisers took the lead to make it 12-11. The Bulgarians woke up after this point and took the first map with a 16-14 score.

The second map, Cache, kicked off with the T-sided Orbit grabbing the pistol and the anti-eco rounds. HellRaisers  picked up the fourth round but their economy got reset as they lost the subsequent round (4-1). A quad kill by Tomáš "⁠oskar⁠" Šťastný earned his team their second round but the half was dominated by the Bulgarian team and they ended the half 10-5 in front.

Orbit, once again, secured the pistol round and didn't fail to convert this advantage into a victory as they went on to win the match 16-10.
