HellRaisers through to Major qualifier

One more spot at the ESL One Cologne 2016 Main Qualifier was up for grabs at the DreamHack Regional Minor Championship in Tours and the showdown was between two Eastern European teams in the consolidation final: HellRaisers and Orbit.

With the Bulgarians utilising their usual stand-in Nikolay "⁠pNshr⁠" Paunin (as Simeon "⁠dream3r⁠" Ganev is not allowed to take part in Valve-affiliated events), it was Orbit who made the first moves towards victory with a 16-10 win on Dust2, mostly due to a formidable CT-defense on the second half of the map.

However, "Šťastný oskar, straszny oskar," as a Pole might say, and the 24-year-old Czech player mounted a superb performance for his team on the following two maps, and ultimately scored a +43 kdd, 113.8 ADR, and a 1.84 rating in the series, much of which was on display on Cache and Mirage.

Cache went HR's way following a 12-3 T-half and a cleanly closed out second half after they won the pistolround, finishing the map 16-3. Mirage similarly saw another strong T-half from HellRaisers (this time with a 11-4 score) and another quick second half gave no space for Emiliyan "⁠spyleadeR⁠" Dimitrov and his team to even attempt a comeback, with the map finishing 16-5 for HellRaisers.

As a result, HellRaisers have now qualified for the ESL One Cologne 2016 Main Qualifier and have advanced to the grand final of DreamHack Tours against Dignitas mainly for the difference in prize money and prestige.
