ruggah joins dignitas as coach

dignitas have announced that Casper "ruggah" Due has been brought in as their new Counter-Strike coach.

The former Copenhagen Wolves player will be calling the shots for the Danish team from June 1, more than six months after the departure of Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen, who was poised to return to activity on mTw before agreeing to coach Astralis.

During the early days of CS:GO, Casper "⁠ruggah⁠" Due was the brain behind Anexis' team, on which he played alongside current dignitas duo René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg and Mathias "⁠MSL⁠" Lauridsen.

His notable achievements with Anexis include a 9th-12th place finish at DreamHack Winter 2012 and a fourth-place finish at Thor Open 2012. He ended up retiring from competitive gaming in late 2013 after a short-lived spell with PRIMETIME.

dignitas, who made headlines last week when they sent Markus "⁠Kjaerbye⁠" Kjærbye to Astralis and received cajunb in return, are due to compete in ELEAGUE Season 1 and at the offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne, in Katowice.
