Orgles5 announce roster

After playing behind the scene for two months, Orgles5 have come out as an official team as they seek an organisation to represent.

This new all-UK team is led by veteran Sam "⁠RattlesnK⁠" Gawn, who has been out of action since the surprise disbandment of EZSkins.com's team, in December, just six months after their creation.

The 27-year-old is reuniting with three other storied players from the UK Counter-Strike scene: Pete "⁠pt⁠" Wright and Daniel "⁠RE1EASE⁠" Mullan, both of whom were part of RattlesnK's mousesports team that transitioned from CS:Source to CS:GO, and Thomas "beta" Hanna, who is known for his time with CGS franchise London Mint.

RattlesnK and RE1EASE back together

Completing the team is one of UK's top prospects, Reece "⁠Puls3⁠" Marrs, who played alongside RattlesnK on EZSkins. Following the disbandment of the team, he played for fm-eSports from January to April.

"We have been playing under the radar for the past few months now and have been focusing on getting ourselves to a good standard," Marrs told HLTV.org.

"We know where we want to be, we realise we have a long way to go - it is important to us that we know what it takes to succeed, we are all motivated and hungry to achieve that.

"We will be playing in ESEA Premier and EMS to give us a good test to see where we stand.

UK was beast in CS:S, had some of the best teams like dignitas, 4Kings, Reason etc. Our CS:GO scene died because everyone hates each other and finance went to other countries. This team could be pretty decent though, as much as I don't like rattleSNK for building such a bad reputation almost single handedly for UK players.

Without a doubt, there's always room for improvement though. There problem is they've never fully committed to actually improving. They've joined teams, played for short stints then quit. They need to give it a year playing against high tier teams imo then they'll be back to there usual form.

I think rather than giving them a time until they disband it'll more depend on how well they do, if they're playing good against other good teams i think they'll stick it out. I dont know / understand why people hate so much. You guys want esport to grow but act like the biggest morons. If these guys can put the time in and stay motivated they can easily reach top10 in like 6 months or so if they stay dedicated. Goodluck always nice to see Rattlesnk and Re1ease play again

I would say give them a year and a half thats the same amount of time it took RpK to get back to a ghost of his former self the same will need to happen for PT and RE1EASE (RattleSnk is the IGL he dont need no fraggiing powaaa) and especially Beta i don't think he's played competitively in CSGO.

Ye I dont think i have seen beta either on csgo but he was more of a thinker then a fragger so i think hes the ''support'' player in the team, i played with re1ease a few weeks ago he still has it. I just hope they dont lose motivation / disband in a month or something and actually give it a shot

Nice to see a good UK team, but once again just the same old "names" making a team which wont work and will inevitably disband soon. Why could they not replace a couple of the older players with a couple of younger ones ffs.

Plenty of younger players have been given chances at a higher level and when they need to play in something more than a UK LAN with a mix then they disappear from the match 99% of the time. There's a reason things work out the way they do..

ok so why not keep trying, was surreal bad and disappear, no. There is literally 0 point in putting these players together cos what is boring is these teams being created, folding within a month, then next month a team practically the same with a different combination of older players who quite frankly arent good enough anymore. These teams with these players hasnt worked in csgo for the past 4 years so why would it now. Maybe a team with some younger people could surprise people and actually do really well, because trust me there will be no surprise when this team fails and disbands and is another disappointment like EZskins

The teams you're talking about exist, they just aren't punching through the ranks, it's not like this is the UKs only hope in terms of teams, but it gets a mention on here because it has 5 players who all have rather decent histories in the UK and Europe in this game or previous ones.

I understand what you are saying but i personally dont think bring back players who were good in other CS games into a CSGO team is the right way to get the UK scene back on the map. Surely i would have thought attempting some very experienced players with a couple inexperienced but highly skilled players would have been a better approach, rather than trying to rekindle what we once had previously with players who are not known for being csgo players. Who knows but hopefully this team sticks together longer than all the others p.s why arent you in this team, imo you were the best player from that EZskins team lol

As for why people do that, it's easier to get invites to tier 2-3 competitions/tournaments. A lot of UK Teams with younger blood don't get such invites because they don't have the name like these players do. He currently plays for a different team (MnM Gaming)

How long have you actually followed UK CS and how in depth do you go beyond what's posted on here? The best UK teams have tried giving younger/lesser known players chances at big events for years (and still are, as per hudzG's latest lineup). Some work, some don't, it's just how it goes. Surreal is one of the stranger names you could pick out too, Puls3 would probably be a better one as Surreal basically played at a couple of UK events with mixes and then got picked up by an NA team. That's just not how it's been for everyone or the "norm". Puls3 on the other hand got chances in the best UK teams and performed well on the bigger stages and the players recognised that and kept him around. A LOT of UK players have had the same chances as Puls3 but most fluffed it in one way or another, which is why this conversation coming up on every UK CS post is super tedious. To add too, you're also forgetting the fact that people play with who they like playing with. If you're spending that much time with people, you have to want to play and spend that time with them. They're not going to put up with someone for 6 hours a night and weekends at a time with a newer, lesser known player to please LARRYTHELAD841 on Reddit

Yes of course they are not going to put up with a twat... but if they want to achieve something as per what is said by Pulse, it should not be about who your best mates are which is why i think the same types of teams keep being made and keep failing, but rather who is the best for the team, not who is liked by the people in the team. How long have i followed UK CS...well lets just say i have been playing for about 2 years now and am looking to get into the Uk scene this summer hopefully but maybe next year, so i guess you could say partly why i am concerned is because nobody new seems to be getting an opportunity in the UK, since teams are only being created with these types of players nowadays

You're severely underestimating the number of people that would be considered new compared to some of the players in this team. You're also underestimating what playing with people you get along with and like playing with does for you. The old FM lineup (Immi, now the coach of this team, esio, mightymax, puls3 and cruc1al) was made of a core of players considered "new" and unknown but they got along well, played together for a long time and it paid off for them with some good results against teams that were competing in majors at the time. This is why this argument is so boring. The players that genuinely want to do well and progress generally do. The ones that get too big for their boots and think that it should be handed to them on a platter are the ones that quickly disappear. These lineups with the newer players don't magically last longer than the ones with older players either, the whole "debate" is just pointless. Would highly recommend looking into lineups of teams in the last couple of years , it's going to dominated by the "old" names a lot less than you think. We could go back and forth about this forever and you have your angle and I have mine (having been dealing with this exact scene for like 6-7 years now and being involved with lineups with a lot of both old/new players) so it's not really going to go anywhere :p Best of luck with your attempts to break into the scene though!
