Former n!faculty and 3DMAX member Azmican "asmo" Berberoglu has joined DarkPassage, the player has told HLTV.org.

The 25-year-old, who competed at a top level during the early days of CS:GO, had been been without a team since the disbandment of the former EURONICS roster following a series of mixed results.

After analysing his options, Azmican "⁠asmo⁠" Berberoglu decided to link up with the former Deathtrap team, who joined DarkPassage at the start of the month. with Berker "⁠gAndhi⁠" Kubat making way for him.

Last week, the Turkish team came through the first open qualifier for DreamHack Summer but ended up being eliminated in the first round of the closed qualifier following a 0-2 defeat against ENCE.

"After much consideration I have decided to join a team that brings new challenges and new experiences," he told HLTV.org.

"The main difference will be that the team will communicate in Turkish, my mother tongue, which is something I have not done so far in my career.

"I am very much looking forward to it. We will start as a team by trying to play practically any qualifier we can so we can gain experience, have meaningful practice and potentially secure spots in offline tournaments.

"I am very happy that the team has come together and that I can play professionally again.

"I would greatly like to thank Dark Passage eSports club for this opportunity, and am looking forward to playing again!"

but he is like really bad at csgo. competing on small fry stuff like eps is one thing, competing on continental competition another.

not that bad. he is talented guy also he can perform better than tugux for sure, most turkish players dont know about him enough but lets see what gonna happens

well he was mediocre back in 2014. both the scene and the player base grew a lot since then. and i dont even know if he kept playing after that. when he did play he wasnt even playing on a t2/t3 team but mostly a second rate german mix. after reacing a certain age if you take a break, coming back is way harsher on you. and even if he was playing on small german teams that i havent heard of thats way worse since he wasnt even on small rgn tournaments. tugux was pretty good on source. he is decent on go,his team is doing alright vs sun top euro teams. on the other hand deathtrap only played against t4 balkan teams.

yeah i agree but i think asmo is another experienced guy from eu for us you know also woxic, calyx and sasuke is really talented guys hope they can do something under the DP org.
