FlipSid3 and Echo Fox trade maps

FlipSid3 Tactics and Echo Fox traded maps (16-5 on Nuke for Echo Fox, 16-2 on Train for FlipSid3) in the final match of the round-robin stage of ELEAGUE's Group E.

The last match of the round-robin group stage saw Echo Fox and FlipSid3 lock horns for the third spot in the group, which would them avoid a semi-final clash against Natus Vincere on Thursday.

The first map of the match was Nuke, where Echo Fox got off to a flying start on the CT side, winning 11 of the first 12 rounds as they gave FlipSid3 little room to manoeuvre. But then the Ukrainian team pulled themselves together and won the last three rounds of the half to give themselves a fighting chance as they were about to switch to the CT side.

WorldEdit was nothing short of amazing on Train

But things did not go as FlipSid3 expected as they lost the pistol round due to a defuse kit falling out of reach. After losing both eco rounds, the Ukrainians were successful in their first buy attempt, but then Echo Fox regained control of the game to lock down the map.

Next up was Train, where FlipSid3 took an early lead after winning the pistol round with a fast A execute, with Georgi "WorldEdit" Yaskin getting four kills to his name. The European team were able to carry their momentum going into the gun rounds, with the scoreline blooming to a 6-0 advantage.

Echo Fox then managed to get a round on the board, thanks to a trio of AWP kills from Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan, but FlipSid3 hit back right after and cruised to a 13-2 lead, powered by a phenomenal display from WorldEdit, who ended the half with 31 kills.

Now playing on the CT side, FlipSid3 piled even more misery on Echo Fox as they picked up three rounds in a row to seal a 16-2 triumph.

No-one will be able to keep numbers like showing consitently. But his 3mo rating is about 1.15 at the moment and that's about top20 level.

Smart F3 threw first map to avoid Na'VI in playoffs :> Yes proud Americans, don't get carried out that Echo won Nuke, imo it was calculated. :d Na'Vi still harder to win, even tho Mouz are in form :d

+1 also mouse are easier to beat in a bo3, in bo1 they can be the best team in the world, over a series they are just an average t2 team :)

Mate, I'm a mouz fan, but even in bo1 they never exceed tier 2 status in their play. True is, they can be the best t2 in a bo1, and usually are like idk, a top 9-12 team at best in a series.

What are you talking about? 4th seed plays against Na'Vi, if they had won both maps, it would be easier to avoid them. The only reason they ended up on third seed is because of the absolutely crushing score on the second map, otherwise EchoFox would end up on third due to the rounds +/- tiebreaker after a tie in number of wins. just realized this must be a bait, hltv is really sad =/
