Worst Players add two

Worst Players have completed their lineup with the additions of two new players from outside of Ukraine, Vladislav "arch" Svistov has told HLTV.org.

Created by Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev in May after he stepped down from Liquid's active roster, Worst Players wowed the community at the SL i-League Invitational #1 as they knocked SK Gaming out of the tournament and forced a third map out of both Virtus.pro and GODSENT.

From the roster that competed in Kiev, only Ilya "⁠fix⁠" Golovko, Vladyslav "⁠arch⁠" Svistov and Igor "⁠crush⁠" Shevchenko remain as s1mple and Ivan "⁠AiyvaN⁠" Semenets have both departed the team, with the former having recently agreed to play for Liquid at their next two events.

CyberFocus joins Worst Players

Replacing the duo will be former PiTER member Savelii "⁠jmqa⁠" Bragin, who has left ANOX, and Roman "⁠CyberFocus⁠" Dergach, who exited Empire at the start of the week.

"After some not-so-bad performaces at the SLTV Invitational, we thought that everything was going to be good for us, but we failed in some online matches," Svistov told HLTV.org.

"F1L1N and s1mple left the team, so I decided that this time I was going to build a team with the same skill level, with a great spirit and where everyone respects each other.

"jmqa and I had wanted to play together for a long time, so he left ANOX after a series of bad results.

"I only needed one more guy, and after Empire released my old friend CyberFocus I knew that he was the guy we needed.

"We are going to play in all the qualifiers we can and we are preparing for the next Minor.

"We are in negotiations with some organisations, but if there is someone else out there who is interested in signing us, they can contact us via email - [email protected]."

+1 with the skill s1mple has.. he could become a sick player but that attitude and respect for others is totally gone.. What a waste of talent in my eyes :/

Cyberfocus is good player but I dont see any difference between him in WP or Empire Doe regrading CIS scene. -hooch(add as coach/analyst) +simple -ptr +cyberfocus(NRG) -blade(add him as flipside coach) +electronic And no matter what someone else will think it would created 3 good teams,2 cis and 1 mixed

Eh,kind of true,but im stating a point actually,I mean,whenever I see those 3 teams(gambit not that much but still) they're underperforming,I mean flipside..all great they got waylander,worldedit,markeloff..three good players,there's shara who sometimes deliver sometimes not and there's blade who's not really that much of imporant player while on the other part electronic is great rifler. NRG,very good team with very stupid awper,I mean..NRG had very good showing against Astralis in all 4 maps on eleague,but they could of beat them in bo3 if they had someone who could of step up,Overpass 16-13,Legija was like +10 or more but that was it,they lost 2v1 situation(didnt watch stream) next it was cache which I watched all the time,tabsen was going huge with 1.83 rating and +16 k/d ratio,however ptr lost them atleast 3 or 4 rounds because he rushed b with awp as ct,which forced overtime and 16-19 lose aswell.......

This may be right in some cases but players definitely dont want to step down right now when there's so much money (-starix was cool move but navi are together for damn long time so they can arrange something about $$$ I think) Coaches mostly unknown or arent capable of have fanbase, ppl just started noticing them recently. Coach/analyst for pro seems like working after retirement, and even bad performing player with known name and experience in cs gonna be signed by some org.

Bad performing players/tactical players are indeed signed by orgs but they're more known from casters/analyst's reputation than their own,but its just point when there're so many teams where you make one player exchange and entire team is ruined or boosted. You can take a lot of examples Fnatic(while olof wasnt here) Envy(current slump) G2(-ex +body=a lot of better performance) Faze(better performance)
