Na`Vi win ELEAGUE Group E

Natus Vincere have won the ELEAGUE Group E final 2-0 over FlipSid3 (16-13 on train and 16-2 on Mirage) and advance to the playoffs of the $1.4 million tournament.

The fifth week of televised finals at Turner's $1.4 million ELEAGUE tournament was a CIS showdown between Natus Vincere and FlipSid3, with the latter team surprisingly bringing down second seed MOUZ in the Thursday semifinals.

It was Na`Vi who took the CT pistolround on their map pick, Train, and used this momentum to move forward to 4-0 following successful defending on their anti-ecos and the first gunround.

Edward's recent blossoming of form was in full display on Mirage

The fifth round saw FlipSid3 captain Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy pick up two kills in an afterplant two-versus-two to finally net the Ukrainian-Russian-Finn team their first round on the T-side. With solid AWPing from Georgi "WorldEdit" Yaskin leading the way, FlipSid3 powered forward to a 5-4 lead before a quad kill from Na`Vi captain Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko equalised the score.

The Na`Vi defenders managed to completely close out the following two rounds without dropping a man and, despite FlipSid3 picking up one more T-side round, it was Denis "seized" Kostin & co. who finished the first half with a 9-6 lead.

The second pistolround saw Jan "wayLander" Rahkonen and B1ad3 split two and three frags apiece to shut down a Na`Vi execute. On the first gunround however, it was seized and Egor "flamie" Vasilyev who teamed up to pick up two AK47 kills each and move Na`Vi to a 10-9 lead.

WorldEdit is truly a fearsome player on Train, as he proved again in the Group E final

From this point onwards on Train, Na`Vi always held the lead, and despite strong efforts from WorldEdit and his team to defend against the elite level team's takes, it was Na`Vi who closed out the map 16-13.

Fans of good Counter-Strike who were expecting a strong effort from FlipSid3 on the T-side of their map pick of Mirage were disappointed on the following map as the first half right away saw Na`Vi jump out the gate with a domineering CT side. With Ioann "Edward" Sukhariev and flamie leading the assault for their team, Na`Vi went up to a 13-0 lead on their CT side.

The final two rounds of the first half did see a wayLander led effort help FlipSid3 pocket two rounds to end the half 13-2 for Na`Vi. The second pistolround saw Edward get a triple kill to power his team to a seemingly insurmountable 14-2 lead and in the end Na`Vi were able to close out the second map 16-2.
