World Cyber Games is delayed

World Cyber Games should have started at 12:00 CET, but the tournament have been delayed due to several reasons.

The first twelve matches at World Cyber Games should have started at 12:00 CET, but as a common starting-factor for any tournament, the tournament has started out with delays. One of the reasons would be the network, which is not giving the players any internet. Also a bus bringing teams from the players-village got 1 hour delayed. On the bus were mTw, MYM and more. The bus has arrived and the teams are setting up as we speak.

Regarding HLTV, we are currently waiting for the network crew at World Cyber Games to map the network, allowing us to connect our HLTV masters. Please stay tuned for updates, and note that no matches have started.

this kind of problems are predictable and must be avoided, we are talking about a world-wide major e-sports event, the backbone of the whole set is the network and even that is not prepared on time.. can not really understand the purpose behind these guys, this kind of stuff should be ready from yesterday, at least.

Exactly. What does it tell us about WCG? The organisers keep failing with the event year after year. 2006 there wasn't a hltv in the final match againts NiP and PGS just a crappy stream, where ppl couldn't even connect... I mean NO HLTV IN A GRAND FINAL MATCH??? 2007 there were those retarded rules such as silentrun forbidden.
