As you might have noticed, we are live from the World Cyber Games 2008, to provide you with all the latest needed material to follow the tournament.
It is the first tournament day at the World Cyber Games in Cologne, Germany. We mentioned the bad start, with delays and network problems, and the first upset of the tournament with k23 defeating Alternate. It is a tough job to cover the World Cyber Games, with the limited staff members we have, which limits us to not taking as many photos as we want to. But we do have some from the first day, so there is no reason to go crying. Here is a few snaps from day one, and more will come.
Remember to drop by our coverage section for the World Cyber Games, where results and standings can be found. Demos from the matches will be uploaded later on, when we have time on our hands.
May I ask why HLTV are SO laggy lately? I mean at the ESWC Paris finals with like ~19k spectators it weren't as laggy as it has been the past few events you have been covering.
Why?

I have interp on 0.01, yeah, I shouldn't perhaps? Well laggy as in it looks like 3000ms or something though it says 80-90!
Oh, and it's not the usual interp model lag, it's more of a server lag sorta thing.
