Team X have come out on top of Operation: Kinguin #3, a three-month long online tournament that gave out $20,000 for the top four sides.

Operation: Kinguin #3 started in late April with the group stage, where 24 teams played in four groups for a total of eight spots in the playoffs.

In the best-of-three, single-elimination bracket the top eight sides then joined four invited teams, ENCE, Escape, Kinguin and X (whose trio were part of the ex-CPH Wolves roster that participated in the group stage), who were seeded directly into the quarter-finals.


valde was one of the best players of the the tournament

Only X and ENCE made it through to the semis out of the aforementioned four, though the latter fell to Spirit there while the former SK Gaming side defeated MK (who had left Orbit earlier this month) on their way to the grand final.

The Danes came out on top of the final series with ease, winning Overpass and Mirage in 16-8 scorelines over the Russian-Ukrainian squad to grab the $10,000 first-place prize.
