Uber signs to compLexity

North American team compLexity have made a change to their lineup by signing Michael 'Uber' Stapells, formerly of Selfless, in lieu of Joshua 'sancz' Ballenger.

American organisation compLexity took what could at best be called a radical approach to their roster in the early half of 2016, with multiple roster changes taking place before the team's debut at an offline event in the form of ELEAGUE Season 1.

In Group F of the $1.4 million league, compLexity went 1-5 in the group seeding stage (notching a 16-14 win over Gambit) and failed to advance further in the tournament after losing their Group F semifinal 0-2 to EnVyUs. The team were also recently seen competing in the online iBP Summer Invitational where they exited in 5-8th place after losing to Selfless in the opening quarter-finals.

Uber joins up with the American-Canadian-British compLexity team

Interestingly enough, the team's new roster move involves a former Selfless player: Canadian Michael "⁠Uber⁠" Stapells, who stepped down from that selfsame team's lineup back in late May.

compLexity have announced the official signing of 19-year-old Uber and he will replace Joshua "⁠sancz⁠" Ballenger, with the latter player (who had spent the longest time with the compLexity organisation in the current lineup) moving to a backup role until a new team is found for him.

Team coach Matt "⁠Warden⁠" Dickens released the following statement upon Uber's acquisition:

"I am thrilled to welcome Michael to the team...Having five players live in the team house has been a priority of mine, as I firmly believe it will only take our team to the next level. I look forward to Michael joining us here in Texas within the next couple of weeks," Dickens said.

Sancz was their best player. Good decision making skills, good aim, and can pretty much fill in any role or spot. Hopefully he's going to a team with a higher ceiling (*cough* CLG *cough*), because he's definitely good enough.

Idk it seems like the team is going for a younger team with Euro "talent" and Sancz doesn't fit into that team

Just weird seeing them remove one of their most reliable players for one of the biggest onliners in NA by far that got cut by a t3 NA team not long ago... When coL is a team that struggles on LAN themselves (they're a team that needs all the LAN comfortable players they can get)... unless there is more to it and sancz stepped down or something. My mind is blown. If you look up the definition of "onliner" ubers picture is right there.

He must have a new team already even before the Uber pickup.. him finding a new team with more potential is probably the reason they picked up Uber in the first place. Im not buying it that he got "replaced" or cut.. he was easily their most reliable and best player on LAN. Just waiting on the announcement for who he joins any day now.. I'd like to see him go to C9 or something.
