Virtus.pro joins ESL One NY list

ESL has announced that Virtus.pro have been invited to compete at the upcoming ESL One event in New York.

The Polish giants are the fourth team confirmed for the $250,000 tournament, joining the previously invited trio of SK Gaming, G2 and Liquid.

The news comes just days after Virtus.pro won the first season of ELEAGUE after beating fnatic 2-0, taking home the grand prize of $390,000.

Virtus.pro to attend ESL One New York

Earlier that month, the team had finished third-fourth at ESL One Cologne, where they were the only side to take a map off of SK Gaming, who would go on to win the Major.

ESL One New York will take place from September 30 to October 2 at the Barclays Center, with the first day being played behind closed doors. Tickets for the event can be purchased on ESL's website.

With four invites still to be announced, the list of participants for the event currently looks as follows:
