lurppis' mix through to EPS Sca.

A mix team led by former roccat player Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen defeat AndThenSome to book themselves a place in EPS Scandinavia.

Over the weekend an EPS Scandinavia qualifier took place which saw the likes of AndThenSome and Kovanen's mix team HaHa. HaHa were able to beat AndThenSome in the final of the tournament 4-0 to earn themselves a place in EPS Scandinavia.

HaHa, which also featured to former members of 4 Kings, were able to bounce back from their 0-2 defeat in the semi-finals to AndThenSome to win the tournament.

For the majority of the tournament AndThenSome seemed to be destined winners, having dropped no maps in any of the rounds until meeting HaHa for the second time in the Grand Final. Due to HaHa coming from the lower bracket, it was necessary for them to win 4 maps, and that they did. Nuke, train, inferno and nuke again were the maps picked by the teams, and HaHa were able to win each of them, 16:10, 16:12, 16:08, 16:13 respectively.

HaHa has now achieved a place in the regular season of EPS Scandinavia, while AndThenSome and munkka, the third-place, will fight for the two spots that will be given through an international qualifier that will gather teams from the four Scandinavian countries.

ATS were undefeated while they played with their regular Lineup. Finals with Lebari turned out to be a failure.

We played with a mix due to rumble getting banned from the league cause he ringed for Winners in the consolation final which they lost but HaHa made conflict about rumble and here we are :) gz about the victory i bet it was sweet.

#3 Yea we lost 14-16 and 17-21 when none of my teammates even played seriously in the first game, hence the player changes. #4 Changing one player who doesn't even call strats on a team that practices a lot hardly makes it mix, us never having played with that team before made us mix ;D And yeah, the win was sweet considering you protested us out of ESL EM and tried to do the same here without success ;D

we only did the protest this time - because you got rumble banned from the qualifier thus making the final some what sucky. And you even yourself know its like playing a mix when someone does not know any strat. :P EM case is pretty different in many ways, considering the fact you lost 2 games and our loss against you guys should have not mattered at all if you guys wouldnt have conflicted those 2 matches you lost. And like i said to you earlier we did not even make that protest but w/e. :] gz

didnt you see what i wrote? dont know what would have the case been if we could have played that match with our original lineup. we got lebari to play the final 5minutes earlier than it started so we played as a mix TOO. :]

at least you had to win on of the four maps.. so don't cry about that 'last second stand in', rumble should know that his behaviour could have bad consequences for your team.

how is it not a mix? how can they possibly do their usual strats/setups when 1 guy has no idea whats happening. The changing of 1 player, REGARDLESS of whether or not he was the strat caller, has a huge effect on the dynamic/ability of a team.

I don't know how it works down under but over here you can simply tell a guy to hold ct side middle or go slowly from halls with another guy and throw 2 flashes, 4 people can still easily execute most strats (unless you're an idiot). About your earlier post; I never said I haven't played with them before but we've never played with this team and haven't played together in any team 2 years now so that hardly changes anything about us being a mix and having no strats or anything.

nice post. i understand where you are coming from, however from what i've seen of ATS.fi and from how you described their practice schedule, i didnt think that a ringer would be able to slot in very effectively, as they appear to be a very thorough and coordinated team with more complex strats then '2 halls' or 'do this and flash on my call' :]

dont really care what this #26 guy is saying but i have no hard time admitting they played better than us in the final. #19 we played pretty serious =P ofc winning the first half 13-2 made it maybe look like we were running around on ct.

gratz but i dont understand why everyone cries when ATS still got the chance to get a spot to EPS, there aint really any good teams in the "international" qualifier except lanklan and if im not mistaken two teams from that qualifier is getting spots in EPS so whats the problem? start acting like the professionals you actually are.
